Happy 2007!

'Tis my first entry for the new year.

I wonder what 2007 has in store for all of us.

Since not everyone's able to read minds or predict the future, might as well do what we can under any pomp or circumstance. It's just best to keep an open mind about everything. Maybe, have that gungho attitude. Sink or swim. Stay afloat or give up on hope. Everything is eventually up to us.

Learn. Love. Live.

Have a wonderful 2007, everyone!

On second thought...just read on.

Scenario: My feet were propped up on the sofa. I was tinkering with the cute clock/alarm/radio/thermometer/gift when Zucci, the dog barked. Out of the blue, strangers came thru our gates. Long-lost relatives to be exact, on my mom's side. Tonight is actually the first time I've seen them. They (all 5 of them) came from a not-so-distant town but had to sleep over at our house because the place where they were supposed to stay has been destroyed by the typhoon. We had to "adopt" them for three days, including board and lodging. Our house is ok for four people but for an additional five...well, you get the picture. Chalk it up as an act of goodwill. Sadly, I had to miss my mid-weekly dose of CSI.

There you go...is this a prelude of unexpected things to come? Only time will tell.
